Church raises issues over Shrewsbury city centre Travelodge plan

The Coronary heart of England Baptist Affiliation has written to Shropshire Council to set out its ideas on plans to construct a Travelodge on the Barker Road Automotive Park.

The affiliation represents the Claremont Baptist Church, which sits subsequent to the automobile park and potential improvement web site.

The proposal, from Morris Property, is for a four-storey 436sq m lodge with ground-floor retail house on the automobile park between the Baptist Church and Grade II-listed Rowley’s Home.
